Let's Talk Protection
If you're wondering what I'm talking about, the first thing I'm going to ask is if the surface you're considering adding a Coating to, has ever had a protective coating when it was first produced to you? How often is the material surface used? Depending on the type of surface would depend on the different process, that is used for the best results. Fortunately Stones, Metals, Wood, Glass and Furniture has been my specialty. Each protective coating comes with multiple benefits and some of them can be permanent. The smaller the surface, the faster it will dry. The larger the surface, the larger amount it will take to dry. Depending on the measurements of Volume, Square Footage & Surface Area; added with how much Coatings/Sealants/Wax/Oil used, equipment, condition and location, all determines pricing and how often protection will be needed. My favorite part of this mission path, if finding in every home is custom made, crafted and built into it's own. From couches, to old silver, Marble floors to Glass doors. Each piece stands out from the rest and that's what being apart of the Buzy Bee community is about. Some of the most common materials that are coated are:
Stone
Once the stone surface is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, a special polishing technique is used to apply the Ceramic Coating. Applying a Ceramic Coating helps prevent scratches and chipping, water and food beads off the surface; along with keeping the color restored. If the area is used more frequently, the surface may need protection a couple times a year. Rather than an area that doesn't get used as often, could have lifetime permanent protection. Two coatings are expected for best results. Depending on how dark the surface is, the stone could have a Hybrid top coatings to help shine as well!
Stainless Steel & Metals
As an owner of black and stainless steel appliances, I'll be the first one to say, continuing to keep the finger prints maintained, can be a pain in the butt. Adding a layer of Coating over the surfaces makes things 10,000 times easier. Once it's applied, say goodbye to streaks, fingerprint marks and furture rusting!
Wood
Working with wood can be very broad, it's hard to say the exact method that would be applied to the wood for best results. If it's aged and coated properly prior, it will be more accepting to the Coating, more than newer construction wood. Some wood needs a wax or polish and doesn't require a coating. All methods help prevent swelling, rotting, smell, color deteriorating. This process will need multiple days depending on how large the surface area.
Glass
If you're wondering what will help make you smile, looking through Streak free, crystal clear glass will be one of time. Once the glass is restored, cleaned, dry and to room temperature; the Ceramic Coating would then be applied to the glass. Two coats are expected for best results, just as the stone. Depending on how much glass is being coated and if it's on all sides or not will depend on how much time will be needed to complete. If the glass is in your showers or facing outside, suggestion is always maximum six month use in between treatments. Hard water is no more than four months.
Leather
Normally specialty sprays and creams, are used to protect the leather from further damage. Keeping it cool and in a shady area, will also help prevent discoloring and shrinkage. If surface area is too damaged, and/or aged, it be could be permanent. I will preform the best skills possible, to craft the surface to the best quality possible. Many different techniques can be used to get out scratches, marks, stains and worn areas. The process is all dependent on the quality of the Leather.
